Shining Light on Our Clients’ Biggest Areas of Vulnerability

One of the core services Global IP offers is an assessment of your business. This assessment is done so that we can measure for prospects and clients all the ways that our company might be able to help make IT easier for you.

Managing the Chaos of Modern Business

Every business has its hardships and a need to increase efficiency, streamline costs, and try to do more with less. Often enough, the issue isn't necessarily reducing costs, but streamlining processes to cut down on redundancies that could be eating into your bottom line.

Global IP performs assessments on the types of processes in place in order to help make sure business efforts aren't duplicated. It acts as the first step in offering a comprehensive package as part of our goal to stand out through exceptional service.

    The Global IP Assessment Methodology

Our assessment philosophy is essentially a health check during which our teams go into a system and perform a top-to-bottom review of people, processes, and technologies.

We examine areas that could be virtualized to support economies of scale, review areas of potential duplication or inefficiency, and, in general, call out problems that may have appeared over years of business operation.

Through these assessments, we bring visibility to each company’s greatest vulnerabilities and offer suggestions to maximize their efficiency and service delivery. So, what goes into an assessment like this?

It begins with an evaluation of the business environment. This includes every wired and wireless endpoint that may exist in the cloud or on-premises. We examine these endpoints and offer an estimate of how many work hours it will take to perform an assessment. Based on this estimate, prospects can choose to move forward with a paid assessment.

(Note that for most companies, the cost of the paid assessment will be credited back to the company upon signing a service agreement.)

These assessments do more than just point out inefficiencies. Global IP assigns prioritization to each assessment area and makes recommendations along the way that lay out a strong case for what a proposed solution would look like.

These suggestions, however, are not a commitment to Global IP’s services. Prospects can implement these recommendations through our team or through a different service provider if desired.

What matters to us is that our prospects become aware of these issues and get insight into which solutions may work best, no matter how they decide to proceed.

These impacts are pivotal for most companies as it has helped highlight problem areas that are weighing down their business processes. However, after noting things like a company working with twice as many servers as they need or having a flawed network configuration the company can find profound business improvements.

Our Team is Here to Help Do More than an Assessment

There are companies that will attempt to take the assessment and then manage the changes on their own. As we stated, our goal is to provide awareness of any issues a prospective company may be experiencing. However, our goal is not to leave you holding the bag.

Our dedicated team of professionals manage these deployments every day with a level of mastery that generalized support can't match. Issues with networks, systems management, cloud virtualization, and so many others are the exact types of disciplines that Global IP handles regularly.

Contact us today and see if your system could benefit from a comprehensive IT assessment.
